Preparation of the final case – selection of one of the Georgian companies and preparation and presentation of the financial analysis of the company on a real example
The course is fully focused on the practical part and includes drawing up financial statements and preparing a detailed financial analysis based on them.
During the training, we will calculate and analyze the financial ratios based on real cases in the example of Georgian companies, according to different directions of business sectors.
With the help of financial ratios, you will be able to analyze the figures given in the company’s financial statements, both in terms of each indicator and in combination with each other.
At the training, we will go through both horizontal and vertical analysis, as well as profitability, liquidity, leverage, and asset management ratios, we will go through in detail how to evaluate the company’s financial situation by means of these ratios, and we will also go through the important connections between ratios and financial statements.
Independently assessing the financial situation of companies in different business sectors, you will be able to assess the extent to which the company will face a liquidity problem or a shortage of cash in the near future, as well as determine how effectively the company manages its current assets, how healthy the company’s cash flow operating cycle is, as well as determine whether the company is on the verge of facing the risk of over-indebtedness.
Based on real cases, the students will calculate and analyze the financial ratios of Georgian companies, and evaluate companies of different business sectors, which will help them to understand in detail the specifics of each business sector and what should be taken into account during financial analysis.
